Shelly Mayo
Mountain View Elementary is proud to announce that Shelly Mayo has been named Teacher of the Year. Shelly is a Special Education teacher and has been teaching for 9 years. She began her teaching career in Murray County and has been at MVE for the past 8 years. When asked what she enjoys most about her job Shelly replied, "It's so rewarding to be able to touch a child's life, not just their formal education, but to assist in the development of an individual." Ms. Mayo certainly touches the life of the children at MVE!
