My name is Charles Walker and I am beginning my 11th year as Principal of Mountain View Elementary. This is my 28th year in the Gilmer County School System. During this time I spent 4 years at Gilmer Middle School and 10 years at Oakland Elementary School serving as Assistant Principal at Oakland for one year. I am married to Renee Walker and we have one cat. Mountain View Elementary is a wonderful school and I am thrilled to be here.

 Teague

I am Chandra Teague and I am thrilled to be the new assistant principal at Mountain View Elementary this school year. I am a graduate of The University of Georgia and Piedmont College. Since the beginning of my teaching career in 1998, I have taught at Gilmer Middle School and Clear Creek Middle School before moving to Mountain View in 2017. I am married to David Teague and we have two children, Will and Ellie.
