Mrs. April Sanford
April Sanford was selected as the Mountain View Elementary Teacher of Year. Mrs. Sanford is a third grade teacher at MVE. She is a graduate of Gilmer High School. She lives with her husband, Shannon, and their two children, Isabella & Brady. April received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in 2005. She also received a Pre-K - 12th grade ESOL endorsement with her bachelor's degree. Mrs. Sanford went on to receive her Master of Science in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University in 2008. Mountain View is fortunate to have Mrs. Sanford as a faculty member and she is loved by her students.
